Volunteer Centre Tower Hamlets (VCTH) provides engaging, practical and affordable volunteer management training. Whether you are a voluntary and community (VCS) organisation, public sector body, or a local infrastructure organisation, why not commission us to deliver training for your staff or member organisations?
All courses are delivered as half-day sessions (2.5–3 hours) and can accommodate between 6 and 16 delegates.
Our training offer
For Volunteer Centres, CVSs and Local Infrastructure Organisations
If you don’t already run volunteer management training sessions in your area, commission us to deliver training for your local organisations. You can either offer free places to participants or charge per person.
For voluntary and statutory organisations
We offer bespoke in-house training for organisations that want to strengthen the skills and confidence of staff involved in recruiting, supporting and managing volunteers. Training sessions can be tailored to reflect your organisation’s volunteering policies, procedures, challenges and priorities, and delivered at a time and place that suits your team. You can also club together with other organisations to share the cost.
Why Partner With Us?
Volunteer Centre Tower Hamlets has been delivering volunteer management training for 18 years; both open-access courses and bespoke in-house training for a wide range of organisations.
Our training is practical, interactive and creates supportive learning environments where staff can reflect on their practice, share experiences, try out new approaches and identify realistic actions they can apply immediately.
Sessions are facilitated by Evelyn Rodrigues, Training & Best Practice Manager at Volunteer Centre Tower Hamlets. Evelyn has over 13 years’ experience delivering training to volunteer managers in London. She is a Certified Trainer, having completed the Learning & Performance Institute’s Trainer Performance Monitoring & Assessment (TPMA). This certification recognises high standards in training delivery against a nationally recognised professional framework.
