Commissioning and Procurement in Tower Hamlets

The Tower Hamlets Partnership has adopted the commissioning cycle model set out below. This is consistent with the DfE and DH commissioning framework cycles for commissioning. The Children and Families Partnership Board operates to this cycle:

Children and Families Plan (CFP) and commissioning
The CFP shows how partners on the Children and Families Partnership Board will work together to commission services to address locally identified needs and integrate provision to improve outcomes. The plan should describe what improvements will be achieved for children and young people in the local area and how and when these improvements will be delivered. The scope of the CFP includes all services that affect children and young people’s well-being, including services for adults and families that have an impact on children. View Tower Hamlets’ CFP
Tower Hamlets Children and Families Trust Joint Commissioning Framework
The purpose of this Framework is to set out a shared vision and agreed approach for commissioning all children and families services. It provides a set of agreed principles and processes to ensure that commissioning activity for children and families is coordinated across the Partnership. All joint and single agency commissioning takes place within this framework. Find out more.
