Groundwork London - Green Horizon Programme Manager (Peer role)

Salary: £43,000 - £46,000 per year (pro rata for part-time)
Over four years, Green Horizons will develop and test a scalable model of disability-inclusive climate action, with Disabled people recognised as leaders in resilience at local, city and national levels.

Green Horizons will be delivered by a partnership made up of Groundwork London, Inclusion London, Disability Rights UK, Co-Production Collective and Inclusion Barnet. The Green Horizons Programme Manager will have a central role in coordinating the Green Horizons partnership. They will be responsible for programme planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring, and work with partners in the delivery of work packages. Marine Society and Sea Cadets - Volunteer Support and Systems Manager

The Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a leading maritime charity in lifelong learning and personal development, and is the governing charity of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a civilian voluntary youth organisation engaging some 15,000 young people in 400 Sea Cadet Units, throughout the UK.

They are seeking a Volunteer Support and Systems Manager to lead the development and maintenance of automated workflows used within the Volunteer Support Team. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Volunteer Support function, including overseeing the day-to-day administration of key volunteer processes. The post holder will also line manage the Volunteer Support Officers who act as the first point of contact to volunteers in assisting with these processes and wider administration. This role plays a vital part in supporting the smooth and safe on boarding of adult volunteers within Sea Cadets. The Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (Y1-3) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. Volunteer Readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child, using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
