Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK - Training Policy Manager

£32,600 per year
This is an exciting training role in the Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of strategic training policy across the Army Cadets.

They are looking for a training professional to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and personal credibility to the team and lead on the training governance, strategic policy, and implementation of training requirements across volunteers and employed workforce.

This role is key to ensuring Army Cadets training meets the governance requirements of the MOD, and follows the required process and procedure, whilst forging its own dynamic and flexible youth training policies to meet the needs of a modern youth organisation. SmellTaste - Community Development Officer

£34,000 per year

SmellTaste are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England. This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months.

The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement. These volunteer groups bring together people with lived experience alongside experts from the food, beverage and fragrance sectors, and other relevant fields. You will empower volunteers to play an active role in transforming public understanding of how essential smell and taste are to our lives, whether they are running peer support groups, organising local events, delivering talks in community settings, or representing the charity at information days. The Migraine Trust - Information Manager

£40,000 per year

The Information Manager is a pivotal senior role within The Migraine Trust—responsible for shaping and developing all health information produced by the organisation. This role ensures that the information is accurate, accessible, evidence‑based and meets the highest national standards, including oversight of the Patient Information Forum (PIF TICK) accreditation.

Acting as the charity’s subject‑matter expert on migraine information, the postholder plays a vital strategic role in influencing organisational priorities, ensuring the public, healthcare professionals, policymakers and wider stakeholders have access to accurate, impactful and up‑to‑date content. REMAP - Volunteer Recruitment Officer

£13,400 - £15,000 per year (actual salary), dependent on experience, part-time (22hrs pw)

REMAP brings together two groups of people: volunteers skilled at making things and disabled people who need specialist equipment. Each year, around 3,000 pieces of custom-made equipment help transform the lives of disabled people.

You will be given the space to work autonomously and grow in the role, but with the support of your colleagues and line manager. You can work to your strengths and share your successes and learning with the broader team, who will, in turn, look to share their experiences and learning.

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer role is to ensure branches have the volunteers and guidance they need to support clients going forward. This is both an internal and external-facing role, focused on recruiting volunteers and developing initiatives that will streamline how new volunteers are recruited and welcomed into their network of branches.
